Gardens By The Bay Singapore
If you are visiting Singapore then there is one thing that you shouldn’t miss… the famous Gardens by the Bay. Especially the Supertree Grove, which comes to life at night, in a truly impressive light show! Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay is a large park spanning 101 hectares, consisting of several water-front gardens, plenty of educational places and of course the spectacular Supertree Grove famous from all the pictures on Instagram.
Flower Dome is a spectacular, innovative and breathtaking place full of flowers and plants from the Mediterranean and semi-arid regions like South Africa, California, and parts of Spain and Italy. It is the largest glass greenhouse in the world as listed in 2015 Guinness World Records! We recommend that you head here first before going to the Cloud Forrest, simply because of the wow factor.
Open: 9am – 9pm
Admission: $28 + Cloud Forest
Cloud Forest is entirely different from the Flower Dome. It showcases plant life from tropical highlands up to 2,000 meters above sea level. It features a 35-metre-tall mountain covered in lush vegetation, shrouding the world’s tallest indoor waterfall. You can take a lift to the top of the mountaintop, where you will discover the unique biodiversity and geology of cloud forests, and afterward take a stroll along the walkway for an aerial view of the canopy and mountainside below.
Open: 9am – 9pm
Admission: $28 + Flower Dome
Measuring between 25 and 50 meters tall, these iconic tree-like vertical gardens are designed with large canopies that provide shade during the day and come alive with an exhilarating display of light and sound at night. Of the 18 Supertrees in Gardens by the Bay, 12 of them can be found at Supertree Grove, with the tallest one measuring up to 16 stories in height. The views are splendid and you can see all the way to the Marina Bay area.
For additional admission, you can stroll along the 22-metre-high OCBC Skyway that connects two of the Supertrees, and see the Gardens from a different point of view.
Open: 5am – 2am
Sitting 22 meters above ground, the OCBC Skyway at the Supertree Grove lets you get an up-close look at the technical marvels of the Gardens’ futuristic Supertrees. During the day, a stroll along this 128-metre-long aerial walkway presents glorious photo-taking opportunities to capture the scenic beauty of the surrounding flora and panoramic vistas of the Gardens and Marina Bay skyline.
Open: 9am – 9pm
Bay East Garden
