Checking In: Hidden Hills Villas Bali
Hidden Hills Villas Bali
Hidden Hills Villas Bali is a family run villa resort nestled in the hills of Uluwatu. The resort has six boutique villas with 180 degrees of uninterrupted ocean view. You can choose between 1, 2 or 3 bedroom villas, each designed and decorated in their own style which was inspired by various countries across the globe.
Hidden Hills Villas are located in the Uluwatu area. The area is famous for its spectacular ocean views from the cliff tops. Nearby you will find the Uluwatu Temple where they perform traditional Balinese Kecak dance every night at 6 pm. Just a few minutes drive away is popular Jimbaran Bay, the place where you should try fresh seafood and traditional BBQ. You will also find the beautiful beaches of Nusa Dua 20 min away and if you are arriving from the airport it takes around 25 minutes to reach Hidden Hills Villas.
As mentioned before, Hidden Hills Villas is a family run resort with each member coming from different parts of the world, making Hidden Hills Villas the best of many worlds. The resort has a fusion of quality and precision that comes from Switzerland, carries some of the exotic flavors that one can enjoy in Malaysia, holds the essence of ancient history and traditions deriving from China and Iran, has a hint of oriental vibe from Northern Africa and is like the cultural melting pot that is America, all coming together with the friendliness and spirituality of Bali.
Each villa has been specially designed and decorated with its own theme. You can choose to stay in Joglo, Santorini, Marrakesh, Sekapa, Sanya or in the largest villa of them all called Grande. In each villa, you will find designs from all over the world. In order to save the natural environment, villas have been partially constructed from recycled timber and other materials sourced from within Bali.
We stayed in the Balinese influenced two bedroom ocean view pool villa called Villa Sekapa. The villa had two beautifully decorated bedrooms with the most comfortable king size bed, small working area and most incredible en-suite semi indoor/outdoor bathrooms with a beautiful view of the magnificent Indian Ocean. They were designed totally different and I had a hard time choosing just one of them, as you can see. Villa is equipped with modern facilities including LED TV, Air-condition and a fully functioning kitchenette with a Nespresso machine. The living room is spacious and ideal for hanging out with your family and loved ones. Last but not least, I have to mention that the villa has its own private infinity pool with spectacular views of the ocean.
We had a lovely breakfast every morning served in our own private garden. They offer a wide selection of Western and local dishes that you can choose from. Chef Ayu’s creations offer a mix of tastes from all over the world and include a bit of Western, Indonesian, Chinese, Thai, Japanese, Korean, Italian and even Mediterranean cuisine. You can also order a private Bali dining experience with romantic candlelight dinner or even your own private BBQ by the pool. The team will arrange and prepare everything. They are incredibly friendly and provide outstanding service and hospitality.
There are a lot of activities that you can do in the area. You can visit the famous beaches and make a stop at Padang Padang beach, where Eat Pray Love was filmed, Balangan beach a locals favorite, or private beach Karma. In this area, you will find some of the best surf spots on the island. Only 10min away from Hidden Hills Villas you can tee off on New Kuta’s Championship Golf Course. If you wish to visit some restaurants in the area we would recommend that you check out El Kabron, Single Finns or Karma Beach.
Hidden Hills Villas is a luxurious retreat located in the beautiful hills of Uluwatu. Their slogan “Bringing the World Together in Bali” comes from combining design elements from all over the world so that they can achieve a unique energy in their villas. The villas are perfect for a peaceful vacation away from the crowds but at the same time close to the famous Uluwatu Temple, best surfing spots on the island, amazing golf course, and incredible restaurants. And here is one more reason why you should stay in this part of the island… the sunsets in Uluwatu area are the most spectacular sunsets on the whole island.
