Zell Am See is a year round destination. The whole area around the lake is famous for its beauty, amazing mountains, and the breathtaking landscape.
Once you are in the region be sure to check out Großglockner Alpine Road, you can drive up the highest mountain in Austria and enjoy the amazing landscape along the way. One of the impressive things to see is also Kitzsteinhorn Glacier and of course the famous Krimmler waterfalls. If you love hiking do visit Schmittenhöhe (you can also go with a cable car) and have a picnic in the middle of the Austrian countryside.
