Visit Stone Town
While in Zanzibar we highly recommend you to visit Stone Town. It is a fascinating living monument to the history of East Africa. Here you will find shops, markets, craft centers, stunning old buildings, and historic sites. It is an extraordinary place to explore. Interesting tip: visit the Mercury’s restaurant in Stone Town. The restaurant pays a tribute to Freddy Mercury who was born in Zanzibar in 1946.
Relax On The Beach
Only 15 minutes flight from the mainland and you are in paradise. Zanzibar is one of the finest beach destinations in the world. The island has 25 beaches with small fishing villages and surrounded with tropical palms and the Indian Ocean. Zanzibar has lovely weather through the whole year.
