Chateau Les Carrasses is situated in the Languedoc region, just half an hour from the Mediterranean beaches, between Montpellier and the Spanish border. You can fly to Montpellier, Marseille, Toulouse or even Barcelona and drive to the estate through the beautiful countryside. Stretching lazily along the Mediterranean from the Cote d’Azur to the Spanish border, the Languedoc retains all of the authentic charm and timeless appeal of the South of France.
Chateau Les Carrasses is a 19th Century Wine Domaine located in South of France. The area is called Languedoc and it is known for the perfect Mediterranean climate with mild short winters and long hot summers. The chateau itself is beautifully restored and is now a luxury self-catering estate perfect for couples and families to enjoy. The chateau also offers an on-site restaurant, winery, tennis court and a beautiful pool area.
There are different types of accommodation at Chateau Les Carrasses. You can book a room for two or an apartment up to eight people. The main chateau offers five fully equipped suites with spectacular views of the courtyard. If you wish to stay in one of the apartments you can choose between two-bedroom and three-bedroom residences. Most of the apartments have sunny gardens or terraces perfect for families with children, some of them even have a private pool where you can enjoy and relax. If you wish total privacy you can rent the whole house. There are one, two and seven bedroom houses with pools and gardens available for rent. All holiday residences are equipped with a Bose sound dock, a TV and DVD player.
Chateau Les Carrasses is mainly a self-catering place, but they do offer breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Super fresh Mediterranean dishes and brasserie classics are offered on the menu, accompanied by wines from the region. You can enjoy a pre-dinner drink at the saloon bar and make your way to one of the spectacular terraces to enjoy the view of the amazing scenery. The winery bar is open daily through the summer as well as for special events and sporting occasions. The Chateau’s restaurant, winery, and terraces are also open for parties, business lunches, seminars, family reunions and team-building events.
They also offer take away service. So, if you prefer not to cook and still eat in the comfort of your own place, all meals can be ordered from the restaurant to take away. In summer months there is also a pizza delivery service and they prepare barbecue packs that you can grill on your private terrace.
You can spend your time at the amazing infinity pool which is heated from April to October. There is also a lovely social spot where you can barbecue together with other guests. Besides, the barbecue area there are two boules courts, where you’re free to while away a couple of lazy hours. If you need more adrenaline you can rent bikes at the chateau and go cycling on and off road. The countryside around the chateau is perfect for exploration and excellent for hiking, hill-walking, or even rock-climbing. If you prefer kitesurfing and kayaking the concierge can arrange the day out in nature for you.
Chateau Les Carrasses produce its own wines which you can buy at the chateaus boutique. You can choose between a smooth, elegant Syrah, a zesty and fresh unoaked Chardonnay, and a fruity Pinot Noir rosé. Their flagship La Serre wines are made with specially selected grapes of exceptional quality. Almost the entire production is sold directly at Les Carrasses. They also offer a range of wine-related activities, including tastings, guided walks in the vines and the chance to discover the wine-making process.
Beautiful nature, small villages, superb national parks, unlimited outdoor activities and a fascinating history await you in this part of France. Chateau Les Carrasses is located in the center of the beautiful region called Languedoc and offers unobstructed views of the breathtaking nature.
