From Cape Winelands to Cape Point
Cape by Design Tours is owned by Jacqui Braunlich and she was our tour guide while we were in Cape Town. We chose the company based on good reviews on Tripadvisor and we weren’t disappointed.
Our tour covered the Cape’s oldest Wine Regions and our first stop was De Villiers Artisan Chocolate. We had a guided dark chocolate tasting tour with delicious chocolates from all over Africa.
We continued our journey to the first winery on the list, where we had a wonderful cheese and wine tasting. We had some lunch at a beautiful estate followed by another wine tasting. The whole day was just perfect. We visited four beautiful wine estates, saw amazing scenery on our way, tasted incredibly good wines and delicious gourmet food.
Jacqui did a very good job explaining the history and interesting facts about Western Cape. Besides the Cape Winelands tour, company Cape by Design Tours offers also other interesting tours like: adventure (with numerous sporting activities), community tours (get in touch with everyday South African people and helpless advantaged people), culture and history (get to know South African culture and history in a new way), safaris (one of the most popular tours in South Africa), wellness (relax in this beautiful country and enjoy some sparkling) and many more. The tours can also be personalized and customized upon your wishes. One of the amazing tours is also a Garden Route tour which takes around 5-7 days and includes insanely beautiful scenery.
On our second day with Jacqui, we continued our journey from Cape Winelands to Cape Point and along the way we visited Hout Bay, Boulders Beach and Cape of Good Hope. This tour is a must-do if you are in Cape Town.
It is amazing to go on a journey along the Cape Peninsula and to see all the top sights on this full-day tour from Cape Town. You will visit Hout Bay, a small coastal fishing village, then continue your journey via Chapmans Peak to the southernmost tip of the Cape Peninsula, Cape of Good Hope and Cape Point. On the way back you can stop at Simon’s Town, where you must visit Boulders Beach and a cute colony of African penguins.
On your way, don’t forget to take in all the breathtaking beauty of this scenic drive. We also stopped at many viewpoints so we could get stunning pictures of this beautiful region.
If you are looking for something more than just a classical sightseeing tour, then we would recommend that you book your trip with Cape by Design Tours and friendly Jacqui will pick you up at your hotel and organize an adventure you will never forget.
