PARIS PHOTO TOUR
On our last trip to Paris, we decided to go on Paris photo tour. We wanted to learn more about photography and how to make better photos. We booked the tour with Aperture Tours and photographer Alexander send us the details where we will meet in Paris. Paris is a lovely city with so many amazing photo opportunities around every corner, so we were very excited to go around with a professional photographer.
Aperture tours offer their services in five different cities in Europe. You can experience a private tour of Paris, London, Venice, Verona and Berlin with a professional photographer. If you are a beginner or a professional photographer, they have tips on how to improve your skills and help you find perfect places for breathtaking photos.
Our photographer was Alexander J.E. Bradley who is living in Paris since 2010. Before he was traveling all around the world and he’s got a great gallery of photos from his travels. He worked as a professional photographer for many years and now he’s been settling down in Paris, because he loves this city and its croissants so much. 🙂
Each tour is specially designed and crafted to your needs and skills. Alexander will help you achieve your goals. On the Paris photo tour you will learn:
- Night photography basics
- Light painting
- Night portraiture – getting the most out of your flash
- Long exposure light streaking – cars, boats
- Reviewing your photography
Alexander suggested that we choose the night tour, so that we could make some incredible photos of this amazing city after dark. Paris photo tour began at the Place du Palais Royal. Our hotel Therese was just a few minutes away so it was the perfect meeting point for us. First, we had a coffee at the near Parisian cafe and Alexander showed us photos from his journeys and how each photo was shot. Then we disused which photo equipment would be best for us as travel bloggers and he explained to us some camera settings. We realized that we have to learn so much more to make the photos that we would like for our blog. So, we have a lot of work to do 🙂
But, Alexander was very patient and he showed us everything we asked him. So, our tour began and first we made a stop at the Seine river which has grown a lot since there were rainy days in Paris. We took some pictures with different settings and were pretty amazed what we can achieve with our camera. Then, we went around the city and took same amazing shots with the tripod, that Alexander has lent to us. It was amazing to see how you can make different photos, with just a few, changed settings on your camera.
At the end, we went to Louvre to take some portraits in the dark. Alexander gave us some tips how to achieve the best light to do that. So, at the end of the night, we were really excited and could not wait to express all this new knowledge in the future.
