Good to Know
Visa
For entering the country you will need a valid visa. Citizens of 33 countries can get a tourist visa, upon arrival in Qatar, which is valid for one month. If your country is not on the list, you have to arrange a visa prior to your arrival. You can get a travel visa sponsored by a Qatari embassy or Qatar-based hotel.
List of countries that get visa on arrival: Andorra, Australia, Austria, Belgium, Brunei, Canada, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hong Kong, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Liechtenstein, Luxembourg, Malaysia, Monaco, The Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Portugal, San Marino, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, UK, USA and Vatican City.
Currency
The official currency is the Qatari Riyal (QAR), which is divided into 100 Dirhams. The exchange rate is approximate $1 USD = QR 3.64.
Dress Code
Qatar is a conservative country so, be respectful to the local culture and dress appropriate. Beachwear is acceptable by the hotel pool but not in public areas. The city of Doha is quite relaxed when it comes to dress code but, try to avoid excessively revealing clothing.

Doha is very well developed city and has a lot of things to offer.
