Which Company to Choose for Safari in Tanzania
A safari in the wide plains of Tanzania is the ultimate goal of every true safari fan. The vast plains made up of over 1.5 million hectares of Savannah, known as the Serengeti, is the reason why so many adventure seekers and animal enthusiasts flock to Tanzania year after year. But there are also other great parks that you don’t want to miss. Tarangire National Park, Ngorongoro National Park, Lake Manyara and also a small National Park of Arusha.
How to plan a journey through Tanzania
The best and easiest way is to fly into Serengeti and spend your time at leisure maximizing every minute of your day in game viewing and fly out feeling younger than when you came into these amazing plains. This is also the best option if you have limited time in Tanzania.
On the other hand, you could make a great trip if you deiced to go with a car on a journey through National Parks of Tanzania. You can fly to Arusha and begin your journey with a stop at Arusha National Park, continue to an overnight stay at Tarangire National Park, where we recommend that you stay at least two nights. From here you can visit Lake Manyara for totally different scenery and continue to Ngorongoro National Park for an overnight stay. The next morning drive to Ngorongoro Crater for the spectacular views. Continue your journey to Serengeti National Park where recommended stay is three to four nights. You can visit a Maasai village, go on a hot air balloon flight and of course enjoy jour safari games.
Either way, you decide Congema Safaris will help you plan the whole trip.

Ngorongoro National Park
This huge intact crater measures almost 20 km in diameter and more than 600 m deep, has the largest wildlife density in the world. This is paradise for nearly 20,000 animals that find here water, minerals, quality of grassland, forests, and tranquility. The lions abound, elephants are very rare and giraffes are absent, but it’s probably the only park where you’re sure to see the black rhino that has become rare on the African continent!
Serengeti National Park
Only Serengeti National Park and its 15 000 km2 can compete in popularity with Ngorongoro National Park. Nearly 2 million wildebeest and zebras have roamed in search of new pastures. You will find more useful information regarding the park here>
Lake Manyara National Park
Lake Manyara is a relatively small sized park located at the bottom of the Rift Valley. This National Park is famous for lions that climb on the trees to escape the heat. There are also a lot of hippos, giraffes, elephants, and herds of buffalos.
Tarangire National Park
Another great park in the area is Tarangire National Park. The park has beautiful scenery that combines acacias and baobab trees. But the real stars of the park are elephants along with buffalos, zebras, and giraffes.
Arusha National Park
Arusha National Park suffers from the reputation of its famous neighbors with a lack of large animals, but either way, it is a lovely park where you can observe hippos, enjoy stunning scenery, ride a horse amongst buffalos and giraffes, admire huge colonies of flamingos, or have a picnic in a dream setting.
